General information

  • The educational cooperation agreements are exclusively targeted to FME students. To sign an agreement, students must be enrolled at FME during the period in which the placements are held.

  • An educational cooperation agreement can be signed for a complete academic year (from September 16th until September 15th next year).

  • The placement timetable needs to be combined with the lectures' timetable, in order to avoid the overlappings. This should be done in order to avoid the first one interferring with the second one.

  • A maximum of 900 hours of placements can be done during the whole degree and during an academic year.

  • It is recommended do not exceed 20 hours/week , with the next exceptions:
      1. Non-lecture terms (summer).
      2. Exceptional cases, which will be evaluated and taken in consideration individually.

  • Placements are, in general, extracurricular. There is the possibility that they can turn into curricular and considered as such if they are related with the Final Degree's Project.

  • Student needs the spanish social security number, more information here.

  • Educational cooperation agreements loses its validity when the student graduates and is no more linked with the UPC, even if the agreement's ending date is afterwards.
